We clarify your marketable strengths and interests.

We describe your accomplishments with language that opens doors.

Our résumé services include writing, revision and lifetime updating:

  • Personal Résumés

  • CVs

  • Federal Résumés (preferred by OPM instead of the clumsy,  expensive, and obsolete SF-171 and OF 612)

  • KSA and SES qualification responses**

  • USPS 991

  • Military Conversions: receive what you are really worth by having your experience and expertise  'civilianized.'

We base our work on an in-depth, one-on-one interview and examination of previous employment documents -- or we can start from scratch.

  • The interview lets us know you as a person as well as a past jobholder, and we reflect the personal you in our work.

  • We much prefer to see you in person, but we can accomplish the interview on the phone, with documents faxed or e-mailed to us if you are in a hurry.

Yes, we give you an e-mail file or disk with your résumé and other documents in Word, Word Perfect or RTF if you wish.   .

Comparison Shopping? We don't blame you. Our competition charges as much as 300% more! Be certain to ask what the total cost will be! Some of our colleagues charge separately for "consulting," the interview (by the hour), and for writing and printing. Those itemized charged add up fast! Our fee is flat rate.

  • Our flat rate includes the interview, writing, and editing to your approval, printing 15 laser originals including a free page of references on your choice of fine cotton-content bond paper (additional printed pages are ten cents each).
  • We charge $95 for the first full page and $25 per half-page additional, if needed.* No costly, padded hourly rates, and no costly contracts.
  • One cover letter is $10.00 with the résumé service or $25.00 without it.
  • Federal KSA and SES essays** are $25.00 per half page (partial pages are added together); the usual Federal boilerplate is free.
  • Affordable updates are available because we save all your documents to disk = low-cost lifetime updates.

* Most of our resumes are 1 to 1 1/2 pages long. Brevity is the soul of wit. Less is more. It's all about impact and convincing an employer to interview you. Resumes win interviews; interviews win jobs; resumes do not, contrary to false advertising you may have read.

** Many Federal positions require detailed answers to four to six questions ("Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities" - KSAs). Responses are used to rank candidates; please examine announcements for these questions. Responses are usually highly technical and specialized and are often aimed at government agency regulation policy and practice. Sometimes, they indicate that current employees are highly favored.

We suggest that you write a rough draft or outline for each item, bring the KSAs and your responses to the interview, and let us help develop and edit your work. If you cannot write the rough draft or outline, honestly, do you think you can qualify for the position? Be frank with yourself. We cannot create specialized expertise or experience for you.
